Over the last couple of years, attendance at chapter meetings has increased. We hope to increase it even further in the future. One thing that the other officers and I would like from the membership is feedback. Tell us what you like and do not like about the chapter programs. Tell us what you would like to see in the future. Do lunch or evening meetings work better for you? Also, one thing I have noticed is that the meetings are attended mostly by CPAs in public practice, yet nearly half of our membership consists of CPAs in business and industry. I want to hear from business and industry CPAs as well. What kind of programs are you interested in? Lastly, I want to thank our outgoing president Stephen Eldridge for his service to the chapter. Together with the very capable help of the new Chapter Vice President Karen Taylor and the incoming Secretary/Treasurer Carrol Kessens, we hope to bring a year of growth to the chapter.
