Description: CPAs are challenged with ethical issues throughout their professional careers, and, often, the path one should take is not apparent. In such situations, it is important to be knowledgeable with regard to the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and its interpretations. This course satisfies the general ethics requirement set forth by the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy for CPAs licensed in Tennessee.

You will receive a review of the accountancy laws and rules, as well as the state laws and regulations regarding licensing, continuing education, peer review, disciplinary procedures and more. By increasing your knowledge and understanding of these laws and standards, you will be prepared to legally and ethically address challenges that may arise.

Description: This two-hour webcast will familiarize and update participants with the Tennessee Accountancy Act and the roles and responsibilities of the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. This course satisfies the Tennessee-specific ethics requirement set forth by the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy for CPAs licensed in Tennessee.

Credits: State Specific Ethics 2.0

Objectives: To increase knowledge and understanding of Tennessee laws and standards and prepare participants to legally and ethically address challenges that may arise.
