Continuing Legal Education
The Tennessee Society of CPAs has been granted accredited sponsor status for continuing legal education (CLE) in Tennessee. CLE courses are identified throughout the catalog by the CLE symbol.
If you are an attorney and would like to receive CLE credit for courses you attend, you must advise TSCPA in advance of attending the course so that the proper paperwork can be completed.
Please note that CPE hours are counted in 50-minute segments, and CLE hours are counted in 60-minute segments. Therefore, when you attend an eight-hour CPE course, you will only receive 6.67 CLE hours. You must remit $12 per eight-hour CPE course (i.e., a 16-hour CPE course offering would require a $24 CLE fee) in addition to the regular course fee to cover the administration of CLE-approved courses.
